How Great is Amercia?
I did a historical study this past week on American history before and during emancipation proclamation up to the 1900's to see how great America has been in the past. Can some one help me please understand the term that even some in our pulpits are saying "make America great again."
Shall I name a few laws that was past during that time that made America great!
Presidents have turned their faces away from the emancipation proclamation or even the interpretation of the 13th amendment that is still being used today to keep servitude alive by the incarceration of a certain group of people through unjust laws?
Someone help me to understand what that statement means?
What part of American History was great for blacks?
This is not a plug for Hillary either!

One Nation Under God
There's a great divide in our country and in the Christian church of America. Between the left and the right. Those on the right say that those on the left are lawless or anti bible per se. Those on the left say that those on the right are all about the wealthy and big business. So the question is, what should be the Christians view point on American politics. Kingdom people, what was Jesus's viewpoint on the politics of his day? What was the apostles' viewpoint on the politics of their day? Should Christians have so-called conservative or liberal talk show host's voice their non-Christian opinion and speak about other people negatively, and not the Christian perspective on the politics or policy of our day?
As Christians, let us look at the direction our country is going and this new political system and government through a discerning eye. The Holy Spirit reveals to all of God's people God's mind and viewpoint on every issue. As people of Prayer who have been assigned to pray for our leaders in government and civic institutions, let us be mindful that we pray against darkness and the evil of this world's systems. So why do many people look at the man and his cabinet? Let's be mindful that our fight is not against flesh and blood--the person--but against evil in this world and the satanic forces pushing an evil agenda.
In his speech on inauguration day, President Donald Trump seems to lean towards nationalism. As citizens of the Kingdom, let's not forget that the stage is being set globally to rise and control the antichrist. The political stage, as well as the religious stage, are being set as an antichrist system that will embrace the antichrist, the man. As Christians, we must understand what nationalism stands for as it relates to Christian values and the Kingdom of Christ agenda. The political party that is in office doesn't matter the prophetic word of God will be fulfilled. Whichever party is in power, as Christians, we must speak light to darkness and be a light to the world.
Jesus taught us that we are in this world, but we are not of this world; he has given us a Kingdom assignment to be a light and salt in the world around us.
No matter the political party, we must pray for our leaders and their advisers to have godly wisdom and godly convictions to ensure that Christian values are in every political agenda. We must always look to our political landscape through the eyes of discernment. I believe every Christian has within them the gift of discernment.
May we not allow the left's agenda nor the right's agenda to bring division into the body of Christ. As we say in America, we are "one nation under God." We as Christians must take up the mantra that we are one with Christ flesh of his flesh, bone of his bone. We take his viewpoint of every situation in life. Jesus taught us that "a house divided will not stand." Let us Unite together around a common Christian worldview. No matter your political party affiliation, let Christ's viewpoint be the primary focus for all Christians in this nation.

United we stand, divided we fall.

In the political world, parties reflect one's beliefs and values. We should vote our values and convictions, not party affiliation. We must pray that our leaders have godly convictions to govern and direct domestic and foreign policy.
We have to be informed voters and Christians. May we always believe and pray "your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth (America) as it is in Heaven.
Religion Verses Relationship
Religion is defined as:

1. the belief in a god or in a group of gods

2. an organized system of beliefs, ceremonies, and rules used to worship a god or a group of gods

3. an interest, a belief, or an activity that is very important to a person or group
Based upon this definition of religion, I, therefore, conclude that Christianity is not a religion seeing we serve the true and living God. Therefore, Christianity is a relationship. Every relationship has love as its binding force. God is love, and love does not hate. Love is not biased, and it's not prejudice nor arrogant but humble. Love looks to the needs of others and places those needs above their own. So let's show the world true Christianity, for it's more than religion!

May you be refreshed in the Love of God!
